Job Description:
Responsibilities :
1. Setup and maintenance of Securities – Debt and Equity
2. Use vendor databases – Bloomberg and IDSI to pull up security details for security set-up or updation
3. Setting up the Security requested as per vendor database and confirm to requestor that the request is completed within process Turn Around Time
4. Perform daily, weekly and monthly tasks on rates and factor updates for variable rate and factored bonds. Research on vendor databases for this information
5. Challenge vendor sources if any needed information is not available or is incorrect
6. Perform self-review of data inputted in the back office systems. Ensure secondary review for such data is performed by the assigned reviewer in the process
7. Update interest rates on LIBOR, FED and others on the system for Index linked securities
8. Work on projects for set-up of securities for new clients within specified deadlines
9. Ensure that all established procedures are followed.
10. Excellent organisational skills are required with the ability to prioritise workload, work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
11. To be flexible in their attitude and approach; have a strong desire to learn from day to day scenarios.
Candidate Profile:
Requirements:
1. Fresher with Knowledge in financial and capital markets
2. Strong understanding of Investment bank & Derivatives
3. Good communication skills - verbal and written. Proficient skills in English language (speaking, writing and comprehension)
4. Working knowledge in MS Office products including MS Excel
5. Ability to multitask effectively
6. Highly motivated and self driven individual
7. Reconciliation and analytical skills with an aptitude for problem solving
8. Flexibility to work in night shifts
Education Qualification : B.com with MBA Finance Only
